Do you love commie blocks
>>79352028
I bet a lot of suicides are committed on these
>>79352028
hang yourself dumb chink
in the united states poor and violent people live in them, so in a way yes
>>79352028
those actually don't look all that depressing compared to the former ussr ones. it's because of the colour and abundance of vegetation
Would you live here?
~372328 USD for an apartment for a 47 year lease
>>79352089
They look fucking disgusting. They will look even worse than Soviet commieblocks look now 50 years in the future.
>>79352147
No they don't
This is a commieblock! Can you believe it!
>>79352147
Commieblocks have a 99 year lease, once that 99 years run out, that 300k USD you paid for it is now 0!
>>79352028
no, i love u
They are absolute shit during earthquakes btw
>>79352146
>47 year lease
? ? ?
>>79352028
They are pretty colourfull for commie blocks, I bet they are nice to live in
I live in one, it's ok
>>79352028
I prefer comfy blocks.
>>79352028
I'd rather have utilitarian completely that housed thousands of people than a huge palavers that took up the same ammount of space and cost as much to build, while housing only like 100 people at most.
>>79355925
*utilitarian complex
>>79355609
47 years before the lease expires and you longer own the house
Parts of Toronto remind me of the Moscow suburbs. I think these areas look cool, but they aren't places you would want to hang out in at night.
>>79352191
Cyberpunk shit right there.
>>79356532
Those actually do look like Soviet housing complexes, only they're actually maintained by the looks of it. Still ugly though.
>>79352028
Yes
Pls rate Japanese commie blocks
>>79356666
checked
>>79352028
I sure love our Malay presidential election is now a walkover.
GOD BLESS DEMOCRACY
And she ain't even a Malay to begin with.
Punggol will look more colorful if the LRT stations are coloured uniquely.
>>79356604
you like this?
>>79356666
cute and comfy, I like
>>79356827
punggol is a shit tier living location
enjoy your pasir gudang fumes
>>79356872
>you like this?
Personally? No not really, I like older traditional architecture, but it just looked super cyberpunk. That picture not as much though, the other one looked more so.
>>79356917
You mean something like in Hong Kong?
>>79352146
^This is located at our Chinatown.
>>79356917
>>79356827
>kau bising apa?
korang nak dapat presiden melayu ke next election? singapore dah maju la accept minority
lepas ni orang asli yang gay pulak
Yeah, I love commieblocks.
They were very well planned back then.
I can walk with kids to both kindergarten and school, to the hospital, to the shop, we have a park across the road, playgrounds, these funny training machines etc.
What they used to build since the nineties just sucks compared to commieblocks.
>>79356971
Nah that's just a generic commie block with some extra coloring.
>>79356997
??
>>79356988
>What they used to build since the nineties just sucks compared to commieblocks.
How so? What is the difference?
>>79356997
We don't have neon signs infested alleys... yet.
>>79357020
They basically build huge ass houses with no infrastructure whatsoever. Moscow suburbs are fucking nightmare. Free market FTW.
>>79357016
Those look a bit more traditional, but I'm not an expert at Asian architecture. From a western standpoint they have more in common with our traditional architecture.
>>79356988
>What they used to build since the nineties just sucks compared to commieblocks.
no it doesn't. it is exactly the same, the only difference is where those commieblocks are. if they are almost in the centre of the city you just have not enough space for parks. and schools, hospitals and kindergartens are easily reachable almost everywhere, no matter when the commieblock has been built
>>79357062
>They basically build huge ass houses with no infrastructure whatsoever.
Still kinda confused. Do you mean like our suburbs where there is nothing but residential and you have to drive a long ways to get to anything?
>>79357016
that's adorable
good job
>>79357071
Yeah, because we were colonise by the British before.
>>79357302
They actually look really similar to our late 19th early 20th town homes actually.
>>79356872
>jenga for giants
is there privately owned land in singapore, how much tax do they have to pay?
>>79357621
you can buy a freehold house and demolish it
or be a ch*nk businessman
>>79357163
Yeah, but the houses are not that nice, same commieblocks but with no schools.
>>79352191
too thin
hdb is not so bad if you get 3 or 4 room
>>79352046
looks as depressing as these. At least the walls in russia are made of concrete.
>>79362320
Na you only need a 2 room flat to make babies
Yes because they're literally what urban housing should look like since the alternative are either housing skyscrapers (terrible fucking idea since they block light everywhere around them).
Contrary to what americans tend to believe commie blocks are more humane than their soulless suburbs full of identical houses that span the area equivalent of average euro city.
According to socialist/communist urban planning the "ideal city" should provide everyone with basic amenities like shops and healthcare institutions, schools, kindergartens etc as well as cultural amenities like theatres and cinemas within a walking distance.
And commie blocks allow that.
>>79356379
>no longer own
Wait what? Leasing? Is this how they do it in Singapore? I own a deed to one room in commieblock and apparently if they ever dismantled the old block, I get the the right to one equivalent room in the newly made block anyway.
