Is there anything I can do with an old laptop? I think the harddrive is broken. Not 100% sure but I tried to reformat it and re-installing windows just crashes about 30% into it. The battery is broken too, it was always at 1% so you had to have it plugged in constantly.
Anyway I was thinking of smashing it or something but I was wondering is there anything fun I can do with it or take it apart and re-use the hardware for something. Or even re-use the screen. I wonder can I separate the screen and re-use it as a pc monitor.

might just smash it desu.

All of my old laptop batteries are like that, they're not broken they're just used up at that stage since every battery has a charge cycle count before the capacity decreases and eventually reaches zero.
You could always replace it, along with the hard drive and install Linux to use it for browsing or as a media centre or something. Otherwise you could reuse the screen as a desktop monitor although you'd need to buy a controller board for that model.

You've had the entire Summer off. Don't be such a lazy bitch. If you're giving up after a single lecture you are hopeless. All you have to do is sit and listen.

>I think the message is that these people are suicidal because they're angry or distraught about their place in life for reasons you don't understand rather than for stereotypical checkbox reasons like depression or addiction.
Perhaps I was wrong then, but I still don't expect most people to truly understand the message.
While I appreciate the big drive in recent years to promote awareness and to remove the stigma around mental health I don't really feel like it's still understood.
The general population still want to turn a blind eye to the real mental health issues plaguing people. Sure we can all feel bad for the people with a bit of alcoholism or the ones who have to get a bit of help with depression but there are severely ill pill out there, homeless people, bad addicts, people with schizophrenia or BPD.
The general population resent these people. They're seen as a danger and to be ignored, people would rather turn a blind eye to the half cracked lad on the street. There's only so much treatment can do for people, some people are completely lost causes forgotten about in the system. The health system often treats these people like second class citizens too.
I'm gone off on a bit of a tangent with no aim here.. Anyway I still haven't watched the video so whatever.

Lets rewind a bit here. I was talking about a current FF T.D in my local area, who I've known since I was a child over 17 years ago, and I know the shit he gets up to and the things he's done. I dislike said politician because of that. I dislike said party because of him and his fellow politicians, and their policies over the past 15 years.
Therefor your conclusion is because I didn't understand a reference to a taoiseach who left office 2 months before I was born, that I'm not to be taken seriously on matters that have absolutely nothing to do with him.
Is that right yeah, or do you want to elaborate more? It's okay you can admit you're wrong rather than acting smug.

We did some anti-racism play where half the class black faced and pretended to chop trees in slavery and the other half were white and performed a very obnoxious dance to illustrate pride and superiority.
Then something happened which I forget but the blacks and the whites made peace and accepted each other as equals before singing "We've got the whole world in our hands" together.
I was originally cast as white but asked to be black so I wouldn't have to do the silly dance as I was quite self conscious and nervous about performing in front of a crowd.

Another year I was an innkeeper and got a big laugh from the audience. When Mary and Joseph came to the other inns the innkeepers said things like "we're very sorry but there's no rooms left". When it came to my turn Joseph was begging to be let in and I simply said "No", then left.

Nah not even a phone shop I mean a shop solely for repairing pc's and laptops. I used to work in one when I was 19 but I was only doing small things, reformatting, removing adware from browsers, changing ram etc. But we were always overwhelmed with so many laptops we couldn't handle it. Some people's shit took over a month or two to get around to and the customers would be fucking us out of it. Half of them were idiots too though so they were helpless.
