It's good, but honestly with the amount of money we have we could be doing a LOT better.
Double NASA's budget NOW

We will make that.
>>79347291
Excellent, we put men on the moon, helped build the ISS, contributed to the Mars rovers, have future projects, and Chris Hadfield is the biggest celebrity astronaut since Neil Armstrong.
Also our next GG is a former astronaut who once killed someone.

We make some satellite parts. That's pretty much it.

>tfw Britain is the only country on earth to obtain the ability to launch satellites and then abandon it.
>tfw the yanks offered to launch things cheaply for us, then jacked up the prices once we'd scrapped it.
FUCKING TED HEATH

Non-existent.
Although there was recent discussion/shilling for one. You might see it in 20-30 years, lol. There are some organisations that do plenty of research/development work regarding space but no projects to actually leave Earth (or at least go into orbit/outer atmosphere).
Reasoning mainly comes down to creating industry, autonomy (relevant to Australia's sovereignty) and reduction of brain-drain. The main goal would be satellites. There would be no consideration for manned missions, which is good, manned missions are a waste of time.
A gigantic waste of money basically - maybe it came up with a few technologies that made it to the consumer space that the Chinese make. The tax dollars funding NASA help millions.
