Also the union between the countries is weak, but a few of them have an unprecedented military (Hungary, Poland... etc.). IMO Hungary is one of the countries that Europeans can take as a good example. Our capital is in one of the most beautiful ones in the world. Education is one thing many foreigners come here for, it's outstanding. We have/had many great inventors, talented athletes, scientists straight from Hungary. America has a much greater population compared to ours, yet we somehow reached higher than them on many fields. I'd mention other European countries too, but I don't know that much about them.

There is no reason why we should be united. Netherlands, (indirectly; Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovenia), Germany, Luxembourg Liechtenstein and Austria were all created in the same country, so those have a lot in common. The HRE has left freedom, difference in religion, language and a lot of monuments in those countries. But uniting Finland and Spain in one union is just riduculous. Those countries have barely anything in common with each other.
