What are house servants like in your country?

Here the servants are generally mexican, but the boss indoor and outdoor servants are usually bilingual and not dark skinned.

We are generally not allowed to rape or even spank the maids :(

House servants aren't really common here. If you need help cleaning your house you hire poor neighbours (women) and pay them per hour. Really rich people hire helper helpers sometimes but these are more like caretakers of everything annoying than servants. Go shopping, clean the pool, talk with electric company who comes to fix stuff, drive children to school etc. Most important qualification for them is that they can be trusted and in most cases they are compatriots.
