Considering the slight language barrier it was initially assumed for many that the Federal Republic of Germany could provide a backup in the case that introducing wide-spread immigration into predominantly English-speaking sovereign countries did not work out to the benefit of the indigenous populations, though this concept has obviously tarnished now that the FRG has also become prone to casting its cultural/ ethnic heritage aside to appease a small yet rapidly growing proportion of its population, which has never bode well for any civilization at any point in human history. There is no reason for any population to beat itself up as much as the Germans do, every government has been responsible for atrocities/ crimes throughout history; The Indonesian Government can be credited with the extermination (as some may term "genocide" of over 100,000 East Timorese under the pacification campaign, Duvelier's term as President of The Republic of Haiti led to the deaths of an estimated 30,000 - 60,000 Haitians yet the citizens of these countries whilst not approving of these events certainly do not seek to kill of their own people as some sort of repentance. Not only this though the blatant disdain that German citizenry and government has for anyone/ anything related to moderation.
