Why are Lithuanians so criminal?

I didn't even know that Lithuania exists until a few years ago, but my uncle works as a police officer in Berlin and Lithuanians are one of his biggest problems. They even try scamming "Pfand-Automaten" in supermarkets.

I am genuinely curious what is wrong with Lithuanians.
