Cost of living is a sensitive topic to many SG turds. They've got issues with the Malaysians and want to show superiority as a more developed country, yet still got the cheap stuff too. Aussie here and the cost of living here is ridiculous. You can save if you are into chinese food but your health will be fucked in few years.

The eggs I buy cost 20 cents each.
Local vegetables are a dollar at most for a daily serving.
Rice is cheap.
Chicken breast is $2-3 a piece.
