I thought serious about Islam maybe like 10 years ago or so (wow I'm old). I loved tradition and beauty, mostly I just wanted to wear a headscarf.

But ultimately I found that same tradition, beauty, stability and community in Christianity, at least traditional forms of it. I had previously disregarded Christianity because so much of it is watered down and kind of hippie (including a form of conservative hippie not found anywhere else). But in traditional Catholicism and orthodoxy too I guess Christianity is still thriving. And I can wear a headscarf too when I go to church (mantilla). So win/win.
