Second for Anime Action Against Knackers.
For a magical girl Sakura sure is a scaredy cat. It's adorable.

Knackers and their culture are great
>>79250458
t. Nacker.
>>79250458
I agree my favourite custom of theirs is when they try to intimidate people for money
>>79250458
Petty theft and being a general nuisance isn't a culture.

No.

>>79250784
Joking aside, building bonfires and lighting them are some of my fondest childhood memories.
I only wish I was born before 92 and got to experience growing up with such things as a teenager before we moved away.
Surely most of you have experienced them when growing up? At least those who didn't grow up in the countryside.
Trick or treating was a lot of fun in a huge neighborhood too.
>>79250630
Everyone did that. I wouldn't term it as knackerish.
>>79250876
>Trick or treating was a lot of fun in a huge neighborhood too.
Pure Yank tradition.
>>79250901
Yeah me neither but these days its not as common except for in dodgy council estates. Maybe I'm wrong though.
>>79250928
Yep I agree. But thats just the way things were.
>>79250928
What's the point of Halloween without it? You could say it is indeed knackerish though since it involves begging,
>>79251329
More threatening than begging
What anime is worth watching from the current season?

Don't feel like watching anything. Don't feel like playing anything. Don't have anything to do.

Get frustrated and browse the same few websites in a circle despite no new content to look at on them.
>>79252790
Never feel boredom, I always have something to do.
Can't believe that fucking Syrian refugee propaganda they have on the telly. I've seen children's programmes present their subject in a more adult way. I wonder if people are as easily affected by this as children are by RTE or the like.

>>79254327
>this show truly warms my heart.
Good taste
>>79254327
I had a stress fracture from running, to diagnose it they had to do a bone scan. To detect the fracture the injected me with radioactive technetium that would be absorbed by the parts of the body where metabolic activity is happening. The technetium would be concentrated in areas that the body is trying to heal and as such would show up in the bone scan indicating the area of the fracture, which was my fibula.
The fibula is an uncommon location of a stress fracture as it only bears 10% of your weight when running. However, peroneal tendinitis can cause increase the probability of occurrence, as the tendon isn't flexible enough to absorb the shock when running and puts too much pressure on the fibula. Continuing to run with this form of tendinitis can result in fractures along the fibula.
Further, peroneal tendinitis is also uncommon, except for people with high arches, which I have. So running too much, running through the tendinitis and having high arches resulted in this stress fracture which I'm not making up. I can't run again until the end of October.
Fractured me bum and now there's a big crack in it lads. :(
>>79254686
I'll let you know how it is
>>79254944
Oh okay that sounds more believable. It just sounded like a certain user here who makes up stuff and posts 1 liner "cut myself again lads" type stuff.
Did they make you drink that bottle of nasty shit? By the way bone scanes are called DXA or "dexa" scans.
At least it's only a stress fracture. Can you still walk on it? Do you need surgery?
>>79255273
I got an injection, nothing to drink, then came back 4 hours later for the imaging.
No surgery, I just had to get shoe inserts to take the weight off the sides of my feet and can't do any high impact activity. Even walking too quickly aggravates it.
cut myself again lads

I wouldn't have gone otherwise. Regardless of diagnosis I knew it would be healed by rest. It was good to know the extent of the damage though, so I wouldn't push it.

>>79256273
Yeah I know. Still doesn't sound like some of them are worth working for purely based on them giving you private health insurance. I'm not even sure if I'd be comfortable with a private pension.
I do really need to get private health insurance soon. I've been thinking of it for so long but it's so expensive. It's nearly necessity because you're practically dead if you have to rely on the HSE for anything.

To be fair, if you don't have insurance or a medical card, health care can be fucking expensive in Ireland.
>>79256675
I have both.
>>79256663

>>79256736
It was clearly implied.
What is the plan for tonight lads?
>>79256859
Why wouldn't it be?
>>79256998
If you have private health insurance, you have no need to for a medical card.
>>79257105
That's not true.
Hmm.
>>79257121
Of course it is. Being able to afford/acquire private health insurance defeats the purpose of the medical card.
>>79257160

>>79257195

>>79256885
It's fine if you're British.
>>79257250
Yes it does.
>>79256859
The medical card is good for GP, A&E visit and small things. But beyond that you're really fucked if you need more advanced things done due to the waiting lists.
My mam needed an important heart test and monitor thing installed, her wait list was 3 years.
I got torsion in my scrotum and couldn't walk, I was in really bad pain. The waiting list was 14 months for the surgery.
Anything else, CT/MRI scans, spinal, cancer stuff and p much everything is a huge waiting list in the HSE. It's literally killing people every year these delays.
>>79257121
>>79257250
I'm unsure about this. Would like you to explain your reasoning rather than just one liners.
anecdotes incoming:
I've seen it happen though in the public system which you will inevitably have to go through if you need stuff done that private hospitals don't cover. You say I want to go privately, yet you get fucked into a 10 bed ward and treated the exact same as a public patient but the insurance company still make you pay the excess which can be more than what the public cost would be. So be very careful which one you chose in a public hospital.
>>79257160
People were complaining about Sakura images being used for threads like that before right? Could just be a series of coincidences, or someone's on a shitposting spree lately.
>>79257322
>The medical card is good for GP, A&E visit and small things. But beyond that you're really fucked if you need more advanced things done due to the waiting lists.
That's not the point I'm making. Medical cards are for people who might not be able to afford healthcare. If you can afford/acquire private health insurance, you don't need a medical card. You're scamming the system.
>get 0 sleep last night
>want to go to bed early and get plenty of sleep tonight

>>79257284
I'm not.
>>79257478
I wasnt refuting your point. I was just stating something.
>>79257478
Not all health insurance plans cover what is covered by the medical card or are all-encompassing. I don't understand why you don't know or would consider this.
The fact I qualify for one would even contradict your statement. Use your head

Want to go to the pub but too nervous.
One is an old man pub and I'd be really self-conscious and out of place plus the owner is friends with my Dad.
The other one I passed out in two days in a row and was brought home twice and refused service the next time I went down (the next day lol) and it's a normie pub.
I'm not even sure the other one is a bar or a restaurant and going anywhere, especially by myself, makes me panic. And I'd just be by myself looking like a retard.

There's only one other group here and they only have one area open. Now that tourist and the wedding season is over they're not really doing great business. Bit of a spurn for a place that has a genuine celtic cross about 50 metres away from where I'm sitting.
>>79262171
Oh she's working there. What are you doing aside from drinking? Is it not awkward? Why not just drink at home?
post pics please.
>>79262242
It is awkward. Don't have enough alcohol at home and don't want to steal it.
I could take a pic in a few minutes but it'll likely be of a wall.
What time do bars that have fuck all patrons close at any way? Most pubs don't seem open past 1 or even half 12 even on a Friday.
>>79262376
They close at 12:30 usually
>>79262376
How is it any more awkward than sitting in a public bar drinking? You can buy your own beer and bring it home you now, unless you're underage or something? People are weird af.
>>79262407
I asked, they close at 12 ffs. State of licencing laws.
Have even more reason to turn the old diesel tank out the back into a still.
My Dad says it's possible but you'd never get the taste of diesel out of it.
Have a few rusted tar barrels too that he said lads used to make stills out of. When he made poitín his uncle used an immersion heater lol.
Would take water from the local river for it. Imagine the water they served us today was water we use in our outside taps lol.
The other lads have started dancing ffs.

Theyll be pissed because you're an wreck and can't handle your drink, also you're awkward and they probably don't want you there.

I'm at that stage of my life where people around me are reaching milestones in their lives that mandate celebration. Less than a year ago I rarely got invited to anything.

I'd got to a wedding of one of my friends because that might actually be enjoyable.

>I'm at that stage of my life where people around me are reaching milestones in their lives that mandate celebration. Less than a year ago I rarely got invited to anything.
>I'd got to a wedding of one of my friends because that might actually be enjoyable.
This worries me so much. I don't want to be invited to weddings. I'm dreading some of my friends getting married because I genuinely do not want to attend.
Especially my brothers when they get married. I'm going to refuse to be best man, and I'm going to refuse any speech etc.
Even the thought of having to sit at one of the head tables bothers me.
Fuck weddings.
>>79264750
>I just need to come up with a plausible excuse
Doesn't really matter what you say, she'll probably know you're just blowing it off.
>I'd got to a wedding of one of my friends because that might actually be enjoyable
I don't know would I like going to a friend's wedding at this stage. It's been ages since I've seen any of them so if I would get invited I think it would be a bit awkward.
Thankfully though none of my friends are close to getting married.
>>79264889

>I don't know would I like going to a friend's wedding at this stage. It's been ages since I've seen any of them so if I would get invited I think it would be a bit awkward.
The rare socialising I do engage in with my friends revolves around drinking, so a wedding wouldn't be that much different from the norm.

Guess there's not much point.
4am.
Wearing different clothes. Must have vomited on myself.
>>79270108
haha.
Think I'll lie down for a while.
how desperate is the mohammed situation getting in Dublin? My fear is that after brexit they'll go to Ireland to try and take advantage of common travel area.
>46 minutes
I was hoping to sleep.
haha
Somehow managed to get to sleep last night.
Dreamt I had a nice group of friends who were all like the sailor moon girls and we went to the beach on a really lovely morning during sunrise and we got to surf and swim. It was nice.
Think I'm ill again

What are you going to do with it?
>tfw ask for mayo in my sam
>get west brit knackers instead
>>79279981
North Dublin is full of knackers. South Dublin is full of West Brits.
Which is worse? And are North Dubliners also West Brits?
>>79280406
North Dubs are the biggest supporter base of English premier league teams in the country so I'd say so.
>>79280406
South Dubliners are worse because they don't have great accents like north Dubliners have
>>79280467
They are also the biggest supporters of Irish soccer teams and Gaa.
>it's a "culchie girl from the likes of Carlow adopts a slight South Dublin accent after going to UCD for a few months" episode
>>79280767
Episode of what?
>>79280401
>>79280767
I guess it's safer to adopt a North Dublin accent, then people know you're one of them and won't rob you and filthy s*uthsiders won't pester you

Most of them probably don't even realise that they're not at a soccer match when they go to a football game.
>>79280741
>biggest supporters of Irish soccer teams
Best supported are Cork and Dundalk, even if you want to total the collective Dublin teams together that's still pitiful support for the largest population base in the country.
>and Gaa
Such good supporters they refuse to travel to away games so much so that the schedule has to adjust around their supporters inherent lack of support?
There was a quarter final involving Dublin in Semple a few years back when apparently the Dubs were so poorly supported it was estimated they had less than 100 travelling supporters in attendance.

How are the holidays?

Life, I suppose?

Northsiders are sheep in wolves clothing. One box to the head knocks them out. A diet of heroin isn't conducive to building strength
>Dubliners watching their local team Shamrock Rovers play against an English team
That's some support
>>79281012
Jesus, that image makes me sick. Dubs really are no better than Brits.
>>79280879
So Cork people are bigger West Brits?
You can check attendances for the Gaa. Dublin usually has the highest inside and outside Dublin even with attendances fallen in general.

>>79281188

The Football team dont play outside Dublin so how is that possible?
>>79281188
Where is it implied that Cork people are West Brits? For having the highest LoI attendance? Don't see what is West Brit about supporting your country's league
>>79281012
On certain topics you really have no sense of perspective.

>>79281305
What?
>>79281399
One token game per year and seemingly the stadium was only half full.
>>79281468
Still a higher attendance than any other first round game. So they do have the highest attendances. Most stadiums are more than half empty anyway why you'd think this is an exception worthy of special mention I have no idea.
>>79281588
>So they do have the highest attendances
Based on 1 game a year. That's far too small a sample size to make such a claim. Also, attendances are always small at first round games so claiming the largest attendance at one isn't all that impressive anyway.
You're also ignoring the glaring issue that Dublin fans only travel to ONE game outside Dublin a year whereas fans of other counties consistently travel all over the country for games because they have no other choice.
>>79281588
Your claim makes no sense and is clearly something you made up on the spot. Their Hurling support is notoriously poor and I'm not sure what you're trying to conclude from one half full stadium.
Kerry won the u21hurling B finally lads. Beat Wicklow.
>Kerry winning the U21 B hurling

So we're agreed, they have the largest attendances and you you were wrong and attempting to shift the goalposts.
I'm not sure what claim you're referring to?

>>79281837
I thought you didn't like Shiratsuyu?
>>79281837
What do you mean? €25 isnt worth much desu. Saying that I only have €150 worth but I'm going to invest in it weekly from now on.
>>79281794
Feels good being a nocoiner
>>79281866
Your claim was their away attendance, which is dreadful in hurling and average from a sample size of 1 in Football. You haven't backed it up with anything else so I presume you're just trolling at this stage.
>>79281866
I'd love to understand your train of thought, but clearly Dub logic is beyond my comprehension.
Let me finish by saying: When Dub fans start regularly travelling in comparable numbers to GAA matches outside of Dublin, only then will they be considered GAA fans of the same calibre as those from other big GAA counties.
>>79281874
>thought you didn't like Shiratsuyu
Was that when I selected my favourites from that image? In that case you have very good memory.
She looks decent in certain poses I guess. Won't be posting her much, as there isn't a lot of art of her anyways.

Well I didn't buy it as an investment, only to buy something.
>>79282078
>Well I didn't buy it as an investment, only to buy something.
Oh. I do that too but I keep it seperate from my investments

Yes.
>She looks decent in certain poses I guess
True.
>>79281914
I said they have the highest attendances. They do. They got 16 thousand to a round one game. You said round one games are poorly attended anyway? So I'm not sure what your point is other than throwing a hissy fit over Dublin.
>>79281962
Ah, so you're just throwing a hissy fit over Dublin too.

Your link was to a league game btw so it's pretty clear how much you're spoofing. You seem to not have noticed that from the link or even considered that Cavan isn't in Leinster so I'm guessing you're not much of a GAA fan either and you're just arguing for the sake of it.
This season the played Carlow in Portlaoise with a 13k attendance, also about half full.
