When I was growing up I lived in a small village and there was tales of a man that'd follow you home late at night and stalk you.
I remember being told to come home before it gets dark and one night I was a bit late coming home from my friends house. On my way home I heard a weird sound behind me just directly in some bushes and trees near a farmer field. It was like a blood curdling high-pitched shriek. It sounded like a pig. I ran home and told my Mum about it and she took me out with my Dad to go have a look for them to convince me that it was my imagination. We went to the site where it happened and there was freshly dug up dirt around the trees. I didn't sleep at all that night and was 99 percent sure I could hear tapping on my windows and an owl hooting. `

The "Midnight Game" is an old Pagan ritual, used mainly as punishment for those who have broken the laws of the Pagan religion in question.
