need help naming this suburb in Cities: Skylines, /int/. It is on a fictional island in the Atlantic, colonized by some generic South American country. I need suggestions on what to name this suburb, here is a pic. The suburb is based loosely off of upper middle class suburbs in Southern California / Florida. Please give me your best suggestions. (Keep in mind, names should be in Spanish or Portuguese to keep with the "lore" of the city, but please provide translations.)
Subúrbio de Macacos - Suburb of Monkeys.

Very beautiful looking town, I wish I could play the game myself without giving up after an hour. Post more pics pls?

Here is more of the suburb. I think it's very "South Florida"-esque.
Here is a pic of a "presidential palace" of sorts that's located in the planned downtown area. The main road through the downtown is baed off of the "Avenida 9de Julio" in Buenos Aires, while the plaza is based off Argentina's "Casa Rosada".

describe to me the basic gameplay/mechanics. Is it similar to Tropico or Simcity?
I'm thinking of pirating it since the only video game I play atm is FM17 and that's only once per week

You lay roads and zone areas like how SimCity works. However, the biggest challenge in the game is managing traffic flow, rather than managing growth- it's extraordinarily hard to "lose" a city, the only exceptions being if you spent too much right at the beginning (which will probably be the only time your expenses outweigh your revenues) or if you accidentally make a road that paralyzes traffic and firetrucks can't get anywhere.
The other big bonus is that it's got strong steam workshop integration, which makes it much easier to add in mods compared to the SC4 mod scene (see pic for a modded city), but you're considering pirating it so I'm not sure how much of a draw that'll be.

Pretty similar to sim city, but much better.
Also, I recommend 'San Santos'.

I like this one the most so far, though I think it will fit better as a name for the whole city over just this suburb.

Here is the garden I built in the back of the palace. You can see the "centerpiece" of the avenue in the background.

Your pic and outline for it looks like Florida, so you ought to call it "Debajo Agua", because that's what it's going to be soon.

>>79225162
Yea, actually growing a city isn't too hard. A lot of it comes down to traffic management. I would recommend the traffic manager+ and traffic president mod, they improve the AI and let you get more specific in how your roads work. Where do you live btw?

you should try and find a mod that makes the water look more "blue" like the stuff in the tropics
I added a small expansion to the suburb to make it wrap around this little bay. I also added a small industrial area.

Is the latest DLC Mass Transit worth buying?

Meh, kinda underwhelming but it adds ferries, blimps, and some other transport systems.
Here is a pic of the main road that runs along the coast. Reminds me of Southern Cali in the 1960s.
