You lose the intimacy that you would otherwise have with your neighbors in a small town. In a big city there are simply too many people to care about others. Ive never had a conversation with my neighbor other than the hand wave once in a while.

I grew up in a small town and i remember knowing everybody. I remember going to peoples house all of the time and running into people at th store who knew me all of the time. I also remember that people are in peoples shit and secrets are hard to keep. Its like high school but for the entire community
