People in San Pedro Sula do look noticeably blacked to me and in general my experience with your middle class is they tend to lean more strongly Amerindian than the Chapin equivalent. Having said that this is obviously anecdotal.

We're improving in that regard tho. Our murder rates used to be staggering before, but it has gone down by a pretty significant margin. Acapulco and San Salvador are now more dangerous than SPS, sadly.
