Saudi Arabian water reclamation sites. The tap water in Qatar is not drinkable, you get water tanks delivered on your door that tastes horrible because it's filtered and desalted seawater.

LA's skyline is not particularly impressive but it's weirdly nostalgic for me, I used to watch many movies on tv as a kid (many of them cheesier, cheaper ones set in LA), then played San Andreas a lot then I went there with my family when I was 14, so I'm kinda biased towards that

Doha is a fucking abomination, a crime against civilization

this is a photo I took of their camel zoo, which is in the middle of a fucking thoroughfare. You're not allowed to go near the camels (their african security guard guest workers will threaten you in arabic if you get too close) and they're kept chained to those pegs 24 hours a day. You'll notice that one has keeled over and died, which must happen quite often
