I swear, it's embarassing how people forget that all throughout the war, France manned 80% of the Western front on its own. Brits were instrumental of course with the blockade at sea, and then relieving pressure here and there with Paschendael and Ypres, but France without Britain does not mean a quick defeat for France.

People grossly conflate mutinies with the army disbanding at the front, which never happened. The mutinies were all about petitioning for less offensives until the Germans arrived, but it had nothing to do with defending your own trench, which French soldiers were still happy to do.
Also, IRL, Germans never caught on that there were mutinies harassing the French army, so in the grand scheme of things, it didn't mean anything for the war.
