Why don't you want to live in New England?

I'd visit, but the thought of not having a comfy New England home to retire to from my travels and eat some hot chowder would be too much to bear.

Vermont and New Hampshire have minimal red tape and relatively few inhabitants per square kilometer. They´re lite-versions of the most beautiful western and midwestern states, but without the seemingly endless mountainous landscape.

New England refers to all of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire. Northern New England (NH Vermont Maine) is much more economically liberal. Southern New England is it's own cultural block and much more densely populated.

I live in New Hamshire, and grew up here. Those areas are part of New England but those from Northern New England shit on them for dense population and big gubbment.
