Why korean are american 3-third language in some states?
Because lots of Korean immigrants moved to those states in proportion to their population.
I assume the state with the most total Korean-Americans is California, they just make up a smaller proportion of California's giant population than in Virginia or Georgia.
I also know that Houston and Dallas, Texas have many Koreans, my dad's friends Korean wife relocated their family to Houston a couple years ago because her extended family lives there and there's a big Korean community.
Korans generally seem to immigrate to suburban areas in major American cities. These days you don't have to move to the inner city first if you don't want to, most Koreans seem to settle in middle class suburbs and run small businesses.
Pic is from Atlanta, Georgia's Koreatown which is located in suburban Gwinnett County on the Northeastern side of the city.
