I used to work in corporate surveys, cold calling respondents to answer questions about a certain topic. We did work foe the Democratic National Convention and the Center for Disease Control, not to mention the Red Cross. So I know in theory how you can poll a certain number of people to get a fix on what the nation is thinking as a hole (thus those studies where they say things like 86 % of Americans think X, they dont literally ask every person in he country, they base it off the responses of a random group of respondents).
That said, if you look at all available data, would it not be fair and scientifically accurate to say that a baby born into a family with Spanish as their primary language has an astronomically high chance of being born into abject poverty?
Does speaking spanish as a mother tongue automatically mean youre gonna be poor more than likely?
