Ours call it "sogenannter islamischer Staat" - socalled islamic state. Always reminds me of how the West German media called the GDR "socalled GDR" because it was the ideology of the time not to acknowledge they were an own country. I think this time it's about not acknowledging they are muslim so that we don't have murder on the streets

You sure? Sounds more like the "so called" is referring to them being a state. Rather than just being a terrorist insurgency group, or a military organization without any form of civil society. Also fuck west germany.
