Is there a debate about this weird ground floor thing?
>>78933281
I don't know if Sweden has a uniform system for this, but in the block I live in, it's
>ground floor
>unnumbered storage floor
>floors 1-10 for the flats
>unnumbered attic with storage, can't be accessed with the elevator

In France we use the first option,
we call the ground level the "rez-de-chaussée" (litteraly "near the roadway")
and then 1st floor is "premier étage"
2nd floor "deuxième étage"
etc...

I live 200km from the nearest elevator but I think we use the british one. I distinctly remember seeing G for the ground floor the 1+ after that.

Ground floor is marked Prizemlje or Floor 0 in most elevators here.

It's annoying because with non-americans or british who talk in english to you, you never know which one they mean
>>78933281
it's not uniform in American english though
Lots of hospitals and hotels use ground floor
>>78933281
like the british for us but the american one makes more sense imo
