OP is thinking of moving to the UK soon and needs to think about employment over there. Some ideas OP wants to do are:
>start making films autonomously (think travel vlog on youtube or something)
>photoshop commissions
>write stories and potentially publish them in either a syndicated publication or in book form
And maybe other things as well.
Is a work visa/work permit required for such work?
Pic related, it's an ideal place for me to sit at and work. (Not work in the cafe itself, mind you.)

Yes

Cafe Rouge is a resteraunt.
You'll obviously need a work visa to stay there longer than 3 months and they won't give you one for that kind of shit. It would be easier to get a student visa

My mistake.

If you are are aged between 18 to 30, you can apply for a youth visa to live and work in the UK for up to 24 months.

You dont need work visa if you freelance online. This is how those paedos and sexpats work in SE-Asia without work visa too

You're usually better off going the student visa route if you want to leave the US.

I would definitely get one if I knew I was going to be there for that long.
