Yep, I work in tourism and a lot of foreigners freak out when they see reindeer meat.
I always have a lot at home, smoked jerky, smoked heart, big steaks etc etc. Reindeer is the supreme meat. And cheap here as well. It's like 1/3rd of moose.

Horse burgers is very popular here in northern Sweden.
The meat is lean, dark and if you hang it for a while extremely tender.
