Sandy wasn't handled well at all, but New York has a lot of money and it's a rare enough occurrence that they can sink money into it.

It's too late to say how well this was handled since it only just started clearing up.

There will be absolutely no problems or deficiencies in dealing with the aftermath of all this. I know this because the Mexican government offered to send help and the Americans rejected it, meaning they've got it all covered.
