The main problem would be energy. If the people operating Russian gas pipes and Saudi oil fields just drop dead, all those European nuclear plants, particle colliders, hospitals, etc, will go out of power. The people in the hospitals will die, the nuclear plants will blow up, and the particle colliders will blow up. Another important thing is that those billions of dead corpses would probably help spawn some disease, and the billions of dead humans would make wild life in general, specially insects and small animals, flourish. There would be a general disequilibrium in the balance of nature. But if they can survive that, if they can survive those first 10 or 50 years, they're set for world conquest and utopia.
