mcdonalds is shit actually. the are essentially a real estate business, opening up at prime locations for making sales. any other burger place is better. pic related is an excellent burgery.

It's not that. When they do eat out you should see how big the portions are.
Its typically 1 to 2 sizes bigger than in my country.

Many Americans eat more fast food than is healthy, but that's not the only problem (perhaps not even the main problem). A big(ger?) problem is the fact that American companies put all kinds of shit in their food to make it more addictive. High fructose corn syrup is put into close to everything, and their bread is a lot more sugary than in Europe. I've never been to America, but I've heard (I'll admit this is just hearsay) from Europeans who've been to America that the bread there is so sweet, it almost tastes like cake.
This is why a lot of people here shat their pants over TTIP: it would mean this American garbage disguised as food could end up on our markets, utterly bypassing the EU's and our national standards.

Can you confirm what I've said about American bread, or is that an exaggeration?

That's a good thing France is doing there: incentivize healthier eating habbits through taxation.

How can that be if McDonalds is dying a slow death in America?
