You can live pretty well. I'm living just fine off about $1,500/month. Depends what your lifestyle is like. I only really splurge on the weekends. Escorts at reputable services like Emmanuelle can cost between 2k to 5k baht (60-150 USD) depending on the girl and accommodations but I'm sure you can arrange something if you're shopping for a maid.
