I saw this image posted and took it as a joke. They said this was a place called Bradford UK. Really, this had to be some under-assault area of Afghanistan right? Southeast Turkey while the political sands are shifting?

So I checked Tineye and this is a real pic, really of Bradford, England, in the United Kingdom of Queen and Church of England and Saint Augustine.

How did things get like this? I mean I am sad to see the Moorish/Ottoman flood renewed, and unhappy that my country's imperial military adventures unleashed that flood.

But how does anyone accept this? You'd expect any political stripe to put on the brakes when children are walking through barbed wired streets.
