A little bit. Not as much as Spain. Most of our moor heritage consists on white, flat-roofed houses in Algarve.

We did create our own azulejos and incorporated some Arabic designs in one or two churches after the reconquista, since they can be quite pretty.

We don't have huge examples of it, though, mostly because we had no moor provinces in our territory from 1250 (Spain had Granada up until 1492 or something).

You're not baiting us mate. You're just projecting your insecurity.
Your country has 20%+ unemployment full of refugees raping your women in the streets while your neighbour turkey is catching up to you in all socialeconomic sectors.
And 90% of your history is under oppressive control, you're no better than the balkan shits.
It's pathetic you claim ancient greek history, which is a symptom of lacking actual reasonably modern historical sucess.

Fuck off Mitroglou, bow down to your superior friend over the atlantic and kiss our feet slave.

God no. Salazar's rule pushed the intentional "dumbification" of our population (for purposes of complacency). The effects of that are still felt today, and will probably last for a few more generations. That's not something anyone should want to go back to.
>>
>>78745409
You've never actually been in Greece, have you?

Jesus, the delusions are real. I wonder who even makes these fucking maps lmao. Probably Greeks.

Face it, you can't blame it on tans in your case. You ARE fucking Turks LARP'ing as Europeans. Simple as. It only takes 30 minutes in any Greek city to know this.

Damn really? Never knew about that. I had always assumed that Salazar was widely believed to have been a good leader consider the economic progress Portugal made under him.

Making education a thing of the elite.

Hardly anyone in my family studied past 4th grade, since you'd have to pay for that, and it didn't come cheap at all. Families were pretty big back then too (my mother has 7 siblings, my father has 8). People just started working at 12 or so, working mainly on the fields. My mother was the only one on her side of the family to actually get into tertiary education.

University was something only the rich could afford.

In all honestly, I'd rather have had a communist regime. At least they'd have educated the population, and ultimately lead to us not actually having the burden of a largely uneducated population, which obviously would be a benefit.

>>78745564
Sure thing, pseudoturk.

Salazar was far from perfect, but yeah, the country "grew" under his rule, economically speaking. It handicapped us in the long run though - massively so. I honestly can't relate with most of the older people here. They feel like total foreigners sometimes.

damn. that's like colonialism-era oppression.

>>
>>78745960
