African countries - unless they're at war obviously - are still a place when children can run around freely and be safe. It's still one of these places where "it takes a village to raise a child", not only two overworked parents who gets a heart attack if they don't know where their kids are at all time.

It gets trickier during the teenage years where school is no more free, girls are attracted with the prostitution big cash and boys dip into informal shady business.
