Do Americans value racial purity more than Europeans?

For the simple fact that Europeans have been killing each other for centuries, and therefore rarely feel any kinship. Heck, it's even hard to make a Frenchman admit that they're latin.
Americans are also kinda hysterical, be it with guns, racial equilibrium or the State interferences

There is no "racial purity" in america. The USA is inherently a mixed race melting pot of a country and any notion of racial purity is laughable at best.

Debatable, even though I'm a liberal this melting pot thing is obviously false, now look at Brazil or even the Philippines to have an idea what a real melting pot is.

In America blacks have a typical dialect, a typical accent, a typical way of dressing, belong in most cases to a certain social class. How the heck are they a melting pot whn they have lived with racial segregation till 50 years ago?
