Im pretty into my tech, of building, software and hardware etc but when I left school and did a shitty fetac learning html and action script and I was pretty good at it but it really killed my interest. Working in a pc repair shop was fun for experience but man I had no real interest in continuing with programming after that. I did some modules for maths too and struggled. Got offered a level 7 in IT but I turned it down.
That was way back in 2012. But last year again I tried to pick up programming as a hobby, did a ton of research and settled on ruby. Holy fuck it's so complicated and I just have no actual idea of why I want to program or how to creatively put it to good use. So desu I give up.
Guess it's not for everyone.

I don't know. I just had the desire to learn more about computers. Why does anybody want to learn? I feel like a lot of secondary school students for straight into an IT course with no idea either and come out to work in the industry.
I suppose the best application I can think of would be web development or game modding but even still, I have pretty much everything I want already made for me. It would just be another time waste hobby I take you and end up dropping and forgetting everything about.
