Can't be just that, insane housing prices are mostly San Fransisco area.
Go to any hospital or DMV, half the clientele are illegal immigrants. California has taken most of the burden of illegal immigration. Since they aren't registered they don't pay tax, and each and everyone of them is probably counted bellow the poverty line. Healthcare is expensive m8.
