he is literally just bribing everyone into support and unironically making Lula more popular
>>78623357
He can do that. Not like Lulu didn't bribe them all as well (2005)
Effective > democractic
>>78623386
well sure, but if anything he is just making his cause and policies more unpopular than ever and making each and everytime PT more popular
>>78623410
Lula is gonna be in jail. Sadly
>>78623410
I hope you guys elect Bolsonaro if not Lula.
Sweet. Either way chaos wins. I love it
>>78623754
Even if he goes, it will only make PT stronger since Aécio and Temer which got stronger corruption evidences will be both innocent
>>78623806
Sorry man, I've known you since 2010-2011 here.
Lula and PT are dead. The best they can accomplish is styming any shitty right-wing policies for the next decade.
Please prove me wrong though. Where are the massive protests against Temer? The same shit got Rousseff impeached, actually less.
WE WUZ SIXTH N MACACO
>>78623924
First you don't know the brazilian people, trying to apply american or protestant logic to a catholic country is commiting a grave error beyond measure. The people that went to protest against Dilma in Paulista Avenue and in the entire country were mostly middle-rich class that watch the media everyday and believe everything it says. Poor people here don't care about the news or politics if anything they don't even know about. Poor people solely wants to work and raise their families with some money, most don't even want to ascend socially, most just want to live happily with their friends and family without any ambition and hence why they don't care about corruption or having their money stolen, because they don't care about money. Which is completely different from the middle and upper class, which are directly related to globalization and external and midiatic influence, these are the ones that vote PSDB + Bolsonaro, they care for each cent to the point of dogding taxes and abusing corruption everywhere, are so selfish they disregard brazilian culture and catholicism so much to the point of embracing capitalism, nihilism or simply embracing pleasure and comfort and other vices to cure their nihilism. Hence they followed so blindly the idea the media gave them that when Dilma was impeached everything would be fine and we would become aligned with the rest of the Globe, which didn't happen, hence why the same people that protested isn't protesting now. Poor people never protested because they don't give a shit

>>78622211
It's the Venezuelans that are coming here in droves requesting rapefugee status, while no Brazilian has any interest of going to the commie hellhole that is Venezuela. (((Stats))) are irrelevant.
>>78624121
Well, your GDP per capita has fallen to 2009 levels. The government is raising taxes on the poor and about to cut off all their pensions.
Maybe they should start protesting. Real soon.
>>78624125

>>78624163
Rich people don't give a shit about this, because they are protected against poverty. Also who will they protest for? Another impeachment for Rodrigo Maia, which is a huge ally of Temer, to become president? Also poor people that are losing their jobs either don't believe the state will never help them and will probably resort to crime or drug trafficking or they have hopes and will save their energy and endure like always due to religion for voting Lula in 2018. Middle/Rich class people in this country simply buy anything the media says like the US, because they don't have anything to guide themselves, which poor people have really clearly which is religion or simply routine and culture
>>78622118
At least it's sort of flat lining and not falling anymore.

>>78624361
lol the dollar reached 5 reais in the end of FHC years, also unemployment reached a sky high level, you can say Plano Real was a thing, yes sure, but it was like in 1994 when Lula reigned over 2002-2010. FHC was in power for eight years and we never saw anything like Lula's government growth. If anything Lula government destroyed most of the FHC macroeconomic policies apart from Plano Real, which was the only economic measure he maintained

Solely because the US dollar crashed this year and China started booming again (more hue exports)

They aren't, only 16k left Brazil for good last year.
>>78624519
That actually sound pretty low for the population size of Brazil.
>>78624361
Wrong. Factually wrong according to the IMF, World Bank, and literally every mainstream economist.
Neoliberal washington consensus crashed and burned as it was destined to from the start.
Nonetheless, no form of policy can fix a massive commodity price crash + industrial level corruption by all parties.
>>78624446
Dumbest comment I've ever seen on 4chan

It's still going m8, just faltering. World Economy is still in for big shock in the future.

That is guaranteed bullshit
>>78624446
>2002-2010.
high price of oil and high demand of commodities due to chinas rise
>>78624562
muh neoliberalism
this is not about socialism vs nbeoliberalism, but brazils retarded industrialization scheme wherein they have obscene tariffs to protect their shit (its actually a corruption scheme) and that causes obscene costs and uncompetitive economy therefore dependent on commodities
lula rode a commodity wave and didnt do shit with his country like every other banana tier leader
>>78624624
????? Are you retarted? How is that graph in any way relevant to what I said????
>>78624734
mfw Panama knows better about us than my fellow countrymen
based
>>78624734
you are literally spouting PSDB propaganda without any fundamentals. Commodities rise would boom our economy not mattering our government party, the difference is that PT was able to make that wealth to trickle down to other classes and later promote consuming and the rise of taxes and tariffs which promoted infrastructure, credit for industry and further consuming. Brazil isn't Panama where you guys need to depend on another country to survive hence the need to simply be everyone's bitch and sell your country and culture for growth. We got resources, industries and a massive market. We can simply grow on our own by our own internal market. FHC basically disregarded every consumer market potential here and basically made us a commodity exporter country like Panamá, hence why we didn't grow as much as FHC. Tariffs sure are a double edged sword, but are needed if you want to raise industries in a catholic country where the rich simply don't want to work and basically just enjoy life
>>78624895
It didn't promote infrastructure you dumbfuck, stop spewing propaganda. PAC ( our infrastructure program) was an utterly failure in all levels.
And the consumer based economy proved to be a failure during Dilma government, because of exactly...tchaaaaraaa bottlenecks on the infrastructure, that were not tackled by the administration.
And I'm not even going to start on the reforms that were necessary and again were not faced by the workers party, because of muhh populism. They should ve done them in 2005, but just now in TYOOL 2017 we are doing them.
>>78624554
Brazilians never emigrated much. Believe it or not, until about the 1960s, it was a country of immigration, people came here by the millions. Then the CIA-backed military dictatorship, followed by a Zimbabwe-tier economic downturn, followed by a huge explosion of crime and favelas fucked up everything.
>>78625404
I'm sorry
>>78624895
lmao, socialists.. trickle down. ok m8. to their pockets maybe.
we-re not a commodity country, we have a service economy... is why we went unscathed while banana countries who depend on china went to shit in 2014.
only countries that become key players in the international markets pass the test. its the building block of development, youre not going anywhere without it and your economy is not growing its going down with commodities and with those obscene costs whats the point of your internal market?
