Alaskan anon here, imagine it like small town United States only colder and with more drunks. There's a lot of blue collar shit mostly mining and oil obviously. It's not tooooo different but there's a lot more leeway with laws and what you can and can't do. It's pretty ok. Most media representation is pretty damn skewed i.e. Alaska State Troopers and Bush people or whatever it's called. All in all 8/10 would live in again
