Do asian gangs really exist? I mean yakuza, triads and shieet

Yakuza still exist IIRC. I've heard they were tolerated by police for quite a while as long as they kept under the radar as being in a gang is not technically illegal in Japan, but recently they've been cracking down on them. Take that information with a mountain of salt though
