We do speak Spanish indeed. You have basically four accents:
-Rioplatense: that would be Argentina and Uruguay. The clearest and more musical accent.

-Spaniard: little bit harsher than rioplatense but still acceptable.

-Latin american: all accents from Paraguay up to Mexico. Tiny little differences between them but truth is they all sound the same. Your friendly beaner neighbour is an example. I would say that the word to describe is "gay". Their pitch is too high and they all sound like fags.

-Chilean: the worst, by far. Think about the english accent of an underclass junkie from Belfast. That's how chileans speak spanish.
