Why is it always a Russian flag on one of those /slav/ threads?
Nobody wants to be associated with Russians.

Their foreign politics are toxic.
Their internet posters and gamers are toxic.
Their government is toxic.
Their English is broken and they speak Russian as it is supposed to be the slavic lingua franca but in reality it is only Ukranians and Belarussians who understand them completely.

How about you stop making those threads and swallow up your delusions?

Also the threads get filled with smelly Blyadimirs hiding behind foreign flags.

You what? We have very few German words, except for technical vocabulary. Of course, I don't count Germanic words that were borrowed by the proto-Slavic language, but they exist in pretty much every Slavic language (like chleb/hleb).

I would say, that even Russian has more German words in the colloquial language than Polish. Poles used to translate all German words or create Slavic-sounding equivalents as a way to fight germanization.

That's why slavic languages are not one language, but after you get to know how it works, it shouldn't be hard for a Serb to pronounce it or to learn this pattern.

The only thing Serbian and Polish really differ from each other are past and future tenses. Also, Serbian uses strange conjunctives like "hoću da govorim". Thankfully, Croatian uses normal Slavic verb + infinitive, so "hoću govoriti".

>it's even similar to belarusian ў, like in past tense Oн ишoў

yes, this is pretty much the closest equivalent of Polish Ł

>what about kashubian and like others idk how they are called?

Kashubian is a separate language, no doubts about it, it's completely incomprehensible for a Pole. The status of Silesian isn't clear, especially, that no one actually speaks "pure" Silesian (now Silesian separatists try to make up this mythical "pure" Silesian which is supposed to be completely different from Polish), but this Silesian we have now and most of Silesians speak, is just Polish with many German loans and a thick accent.

>standardization killed your language?!?!

WW2 was actually more destructive, because it destroyed the most important Eastern Kresy dialects (most of Polish culture came from Kresy, this dialect used this Russian "l" instead of Polish ł and it was used in pre-war movies, because most of actors were from Kresy), also it killed the Jewish dialect of Polish, the Warsawian dialect of Polish, also the Polish dialects of Gdańsk or a big part of Silesia (because migrants from the East flooded these lands and they all had to switch to standard Polish to talk to locals and the dialects were eventually forgotten). Commie standardization just finished what the war had done.

>whaaaat?!?!n which slavic language has adjectjves (pls no polish nosi, niesi, or something like that)

What do you mean by "adjectives"? Adjective is just "white", "black" etc.

I know that their language is kind of incomplete, because they lack many words, as very few people use these languages on a daily basis and a lot of original Slavic words were long forgotten and replaced with German words. But I don't know much about them, really, as I said, Poles aren't interested in their culture, we don't want to help them too much (even if they sometimes ask for it), because we think it would be meddling in German internal affairs.

However, even if you take a look in slovak wikipedia you can find the following:
"Zásluhy o založenie Československej republiky majú predovšetkým Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk,Edvard Beneš a spomedzi slovenských osobností hlavne M. R. Štefánik"

>And you saying we are primitive verson of Czechs

After speaking with you the word "stupid" is actually more suitable.

It's incomplete. The problem with Serbo-Croatian is that although the words themselves can be traced back to Old Church Slavonic easily, the endings follow their own logic of sound changes, and so the same sound changes applicable to stems cannot be used for the endings, for the most part.

The rules (so to speak) for reading is that ь and ъ are either pronounced "a" or silent, or are part of syllabic "r".
The letter "ѧ" represents "e", "ѩ" represents "je", "ѫ" represents "u", "ѭ" represents "ju".
"Ы" generally corresponds to "i" but partially to "e" in endings.
The letter "ѣ" can be "e", "je" or "ije".
"Л" can be "o". Etc.
There are some silent letters and assimilated combinations of letters throughout.
I spelt "je" and "su" as "ecтъ" and "cѫть" from OCS.

The text that I actually converted was this. I tried to keep the endings relatively phonetic in this.

I'll post it in the next post that will link to this post.

looks interesting. i'll have a more detailed look tomorrow, i'm too tired now. just one question, why is it кpaлицeмь and not кpaлицoмь? was it like this in OCS? we have the -em ending for instrumental singular masculine and -om for feminine and neutral (for example s muškarcem, ženom, djetetom)
>>
>>78513107
The combination "цo" was impossible in OCS, so I thought I'd spell "o" as "e" just after "ц". We partially do it in Russian when we have "o" where it "isn't supposed" to be.

Russian women and men - as close as possible to the primitive state, when it was necessary constantly to prove that you are a real Man

There are a couple small mistakes in the conversion, all but one (as I can see) related to the endings. Apologies for those, but regardless it shows how beautiful Serbian Cyrillic could be when brought back to our OCS roots. Glad to know you like it.
>>
>>78512790
how did you deal with infinitives? in serbi-croatian we have two types of those, ones ending with -ti(trčati, gledati) (no i in some regions), and others (irregular) ending with -ći (ići, peći, reć) (also no i in some regions) or ending with -sti(jesti, sesti)
I knkw that Polish does not have any other infinitive other than -ć, so that's why I am wondering

btw these two really are different, every other tense looks different with irregular verbs
>>
>>78519255
and this is my friends why I fucking hate Vuk Karadžić, fucking cuck who worked for Vatikan and Austrian Empie
>>
>>78519326
They all correspond squarely to OCS -чи. Although it is now a different phoneme in Serbian, I thought I can just write it the OCS way and have the pronunciation be different. This spelling system is a bit lenient on the pronunciation, but if there's no vowel then it can be spelt with ь, if so desired. Jesti, sesti is the same in OCS. Ici I would spell with the special Serbian consonant though as it comes from an assimilation. Sorry, phoneposting.

>>78519353
Yeah, his Cyrillic is dropping in popularity. I am thankful for his special c and d letters though (phoneposting, can't type them exactly but you know what I mean).

If you are interested in polishing this system drop me an email at [email protected]
