What's your ideal house design ?
Mine is a Roman Villa
>>78479798
>>78479887
I think too big house is more lonly and not comfy dechu •ω•
A small house like this one
Something like that,but more modern
a barrel
>>78479798
i always loved that atrium thingie, letting the rainwater get in
>>78479909
you're supposed to live there with the entire clan
I live in a 2 story house now, and it sucks. It's so hard to maintain. A brick rambler would be excellent. Roofing would be easy, just pressure wash it once a year.
>>78479798
Romans will have put you to fight a goat or some shit for fun because of your eyes and ching chong language. Would be fun to watch desu. I'd bet on the goat
>>78480063
>yo dawg, i herd your into houses so we put a house onto yo terrace so you can house while you hangin' at the terrace
old meme but appropiate for the pic
>>78479798
Big Windows and big open rooms are the only thing I really want.
>>78480084
No te van a entender la referencia estos pendejos ni siquiera son milenials
>>78479798
Something like this in the middle of the woods would be nice
>>78480102
You some kind of exhibitionist?
I hate those modern glass cubes.
Won't mind having a nice old cramped townhouse where I make music all day.
>>78480126
ni me pescan así que no importa
anyways houses on top of buildings have their charm. here's one in Buenos Aires
and here's one in Syracuse
>>78480195
I thought Jews were allergic to wilderness?
>>78480282
Yeah that's why so many Israelis illegally settle in the West Bank wilderness, found villages in the countryside, or go to trek in wild shitholes like South America.
They do it mostly out of love for nature, I like nature but I mostly want to get away from people and their noises.
Modern Japanese homes look comfy as fuck.
>>78480383
which, this one?
>>78480411
Small places are comfy as long as you still have enough space to lay down and not touch two walls.
>>78479798
pretty much this: http://www.coventryloghomes.com/ourDesigns/craftsmanSeries/Jefferson/model.html
I got hard wood for hardwood and so it's log cabins all the way for me.
From that same place I'd also consider throwing a Garage apartment onto the same property for when I want to entertain extra guests or something.
I know a loooot of people I'd like to host over at my pad.
>>78480026
>hat two story buildings
As a contractor apprentice, I can sympathize from a different angle.
>tfw second day of the job involved demoing out a shower stall with two inch thick plaster and tiles on a second floor
>Kept having to breath in fucking dust, shovel it all into a trash bin, then dash down the stairs and empty it into a dump trailer
The memories haunt me.
And yet I'm still okay with a second story on my own home.
>>78480175
you know, I've seen that style before but I don't know what it's called. It feels VERY American.
>>78480437
>I've seen that style before but I don't know what it's called
crap, i forgot too. let's ask google
>>78480437
colonial home?
>>78480507
>>78480523
>colonial home
I guess that's why it would feel so American (as in North American in this case)
Modern homes are the most comfy
>>78480223
It's not for everyone. I have kinda a mild case of claustrophobia, so all these old, cramped houses would make me uncomfortable and slightly go crazy over time.
But I would also only buy one of these glass cubes somewhere in the woods. If buy one of these in a normal in a normal neighborhood, you just look like a obnoxious, tryharding faggot.
>tfw you can buy a chateau for cheaper than single storey homes here
JUST
>>78480330
These old houses look really cool.
>>78479798
>roman villa
It's too little to be a true villa. True villa is not just a big house - it's a big farm which requires the labor of slaves and wage workers
>>78480805
Yes, I can't believe the boring modernist shit people in this thread like.
Something like this
>I live 10 minutes from it
fuck modernism
Already own my dream house, slowly renovating it.
Can't stand modern homes, I prefer the older style.
>>78480437
thicc
>>78480330
looks like a fucking hounted house
i dont want strange noises with my house ty
>>78481663
Something like these?
https://youtu.be/HHgxOXEQaFU
>>78481566
comfy
I don't like plants so close to the house, could cause dry-rot and all
>>78481663
coward
>>78481878
>plants so close
Don't worry I'm gonna clear out a lot of it. .
I would like an A frame out in the woods
>>78481979
Lit
no neighbors allowed
>all the modernist crap ITT
Get that shit out of my face
>>78479798
/thread
>>78482136
comfy
>>78480102
fuck your life and your kids and your grandkids
>>78480223
this
kike knows what's up
except being crowded thingy
>>78480902
>that ugly metal fence
slavs with no taste
>>78482136
agreed
>>78479798
romans rule
>>78480026
fucking McDonald's house
>>78480102
hau ab
>>78480102
Two years and it's all full of rain/dust/particle stains with cracks in the paint here and there because there is no traditional roof.
I have seen it 1000 times before.
You suck.
>>78480102
>>78481456
>>78481566
>>78484355
>throw keys on the bed, they fall down to basement
>have kids, one kid dies after running into sharp edge, other falls to his death
>everyone can see you jerking off trough windows
>>78484440
they're just b8ing with those pics i've seen them a couple of times in threads like this
>>78479798
cuckshed
also this one:
>>78480009
Comfiness~
So pretty
>>78479798
The word house is a projection of your deluded mind.
The word design is a projection of your deluded mind.
Like one from the film Taxi.
A garage with a loft to live.
>>78479798
A galician pazo
Something in London with a swimming pool. I just want a swimming pool really
expensive to heat, but it gets the neighbors jealous
>>78480130
ah, Petržalka, magical place
I just want a house with a courtyard
That's all I really want in a home
>>78481466
>>78483193
>>78484331
now this is comfy as f
I would like a nice southern colonial style house with a big two story porch to sip sweet tea from.
bump
>>78490311
why not have a large garden?
>>78493654
I like the size of the upper porch.
>>78496552
atriums with gardens are awesome
PA colonial stone farmhouse
It's more about landscape for me tbqh
>>78496879
looks like a nicer version of Pennsylvania
>>78496669
looks nice but I need a big fucking garden to keep me happy. I don't want to see my neighbors. I think that's an american thing
I want something like this. romanian gipsy style
A hobbit house. I could be at peace instead of living in this concrete hell
>>78497815
btw i don't particularly like it but somebody built this house in my country. probably some yank expat
>>78498132
another view, the roofs are hidden by artificial "hills"
>>78498215
isn't that what the teletubbies live in?
>>78497608
That's a british thing you dirty angl*
>>78480230
holy shit man, how did i never seen or heard of this, its fucking hilarous, i am going to search it tomorrow
>>78498288
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
yeh it looks like so. fucking hippie commie pinkos
>>78498346
es un museo mepa. entrá y sacá fotos, siempre quise saber qué hay adentro
>>78497815
btw if you feel absolutely hippie you could always make a cob house. not sure how the cold isolation works but it's very cool for those hot finn summer days
Mobility is more important than size nowadays. Could do with a grass roof though.
a kancha
>>78498487
>Mobility is more important than size nowadays
keep telling yourself that
>>78498533
t. 3000 sqft garden shed
>>78498590
ideal for marihuana and tomato hydroponic pots huh?
>my dream house
home sweet home
>>78490311
This, I want a spanish colonial house with a comfy courtyard.
>>78498533
he meant ergonomy me think
>>78480383
modern homes are awful, i already living
>>78499591
If not spanish/mexican then something syrian would be cute
>>78480330
And Get away from their noses.
You boys have not felt comfy unless there is a carpet in the vicinity
>>78480635
> yo,Ahmed, look at that white boi in the glass cage, I heard they were the natives in Europa few decades ago. Now they can't survive without the help of zoo keepers, you know, just like the panda bears.
>>78499745
Thats Moroccan
This is peak of apartment design, my own apartment looks about exactly like this
>>78500129
carpets go on the floor silly
>>78500126
You are right, wrong image.
This is a syrian one though.
>>78500233
Wrong. Sound insulation and warmth is what a carpet grants
This thread is disgusting and you fags have a shit taste.
>>78501136
Its comfy, but Ive lived almost all my life on a coastal city. I cant stand something so cold
>>78500267
grab a couple of bricks and throw them in the ground. You got yourself a modern syrian house.
>>78502380
>grab a couple of concrete and throw it in the ground. You got yourself a modern build.
>grab a couple of logs and throw them in the ground. You got yourself a modern cabin house.
>grab a couple of glass and throw it in the ground. You got yourself a modern house.
Something like this pic, but minus that weird blue shit
>>78497710
gypssies have not houses, they live traditionally in tents or caravans
"Integrated" gypsies live in houses they parasitet.
That is a Japanese house.
this is a traditional Romanian house from the North, roof covered in "sendrila" -wood shingles in English. Some traditional houses are thatched like yours, but most of them are only in the danube delta, fisherman houses.
Also, you can have one of these houses for around 30 000 Euro in Romania, plus 2000 sqm of land, in the mountain
>>78505850
>>78497710
>>78505850
This one has thatched roofing, a neo-ethnic modern construction
http://adelaparvu.com/2016/04/25/cea-mai-frumoasa-casa-din-lume-asa-este-pentru-fratii-david-si-eva-aceasta-minunatie-dinspre-campulung/
>>78508524
>>78505850
Traditional thatched fisherman cottage in Dobrojea, Danube Delta.
Ethnic Olt Rites Russian, Lipovans live there.
>>78479798
I wish I have some Balinese or SEA style waterfront mansion, hopefully within 30 min ~ 1 hr from a major city (2-3+ million)
Realistically, how doable would it be to make somethin like this in a poor country
Something that blends traditional/hybrid/modern Japanese styles with Western styles
>>78509105
500EURO/sq M for a non-complicated construction like a mannor house in Romania
Finishing touches quality- average.
>>78499972
you can take the slav out of Mongolia
but you can never take the mongol out of a slav
>>78509105
you're looking a a few mil at least
>>78509677
that's the minimum. you pay for quality: the bigger and more detailed the more it goes up the price
>>78496879
this. and also climate
>>78479798
Many of these houses ITT surely are beautiful, but I am lucky where I life, I love my heimat and I don't want to be anywhere else.
>>78479798
>roman_villa.jpg
that's a domus, and they really are a excellent choice
>>78480102
This
>>78510733
Concrete doesn't tend to age well. After 10 years it won't be any more pleasant I guess.
