Who would win in a war between a reborn Roman Empire with those boundaries and America?
>>78472262
America because every country inside it will declare independance ?
>>78471990
really makes you ponder
>>78472262
America would probably win through economic superiority, as in reality neither side would be able to make a meaningful assault on the others territory. This is assuming no nukes and the population of new Rome is somehow united.
>>78471990
>would get rid of the UK as we know it

Why do you want Carthage back?
>>78471990
Trajan's attempt at being a wannabe Alexander is what started the end of Pax Romana though.
>>78476387
Rome was dependant on eternal war
>>78474999
wtf, is this an extrafags glitch
>>78471990
do you understand that it would mean WE would have to manage both North Africa and fucking Middle east at the same time? We are not God
>>78476511
Not really. Besides even if, and that's a big if, assuming what you are saying is true, Trajan's Parthian War was the wrong one to go on. He over-extended the empire, sapped vital reserves and manpower from the frontiers at Inner Germania to pull extra legions into his war with the Parthian Empire. Those reserves were never fully replinished due to Hadrian having to deal with a break out of plague and disease with several Roman Legions being either infected when getting to the Persian Gulf or going down to Parthian ambushes and guerrilla tactics. There's a reason why Rome would NEVER go on another offensive war for conquest again after Trajan.

No, this is.

Malaka - modern day Malaga
Gadir - Cadiz

Cartago Nova - Cartagena
>>78472738

this was a Greek settlement. some Tartessian guy living there threw a spear at the Greek ship arriving and the sailors shouted 'malaka' back at him

The parthians were the only thing separating the chinese empire from the romans.
It would be quite interesting to see what would happened when the two empires got in contact.
>>78481421
and a few Tarim states
>>78480951
Crush the Parthians, Sarmatians and Germanics in one swoop? I don't think they would have worked.
