I really don't get this European arrogance and ignonrance when it comes to food. Most your spices, seasoning, flours, etc. came from Asia and South America, yet you seriously act like you're the only cunts who know how to use an oven?
Man, go fuck yourselves. Even worse coming from a tiny irrelevant Eastern European shithole and a dirty fucking Italian. It's a pity I won't be around by the time North Africa swallows up Europe, with the Chinese stepping in to capitalise on the markets. All you have is muh heritage, which is based on firmly pressing your fingers in your ears and pretending like the rest of the world is still in the 1800s while your region is in the 21st century.

The bread and pasties are better in China.
The coffee is better in Turkey.
The seafood is better in East Asia.
The meat is better in Australia.
The wine is better in Chile, America and New Zealand.
The spices are better in India.
The noodles/pasta are better in South East Asia.

What does Europe have? A lot of nice vistas, large social welfare programs, old buildings, more ethnic related violence and a rapidly increasing Muslim population.

Retard, you have exact same shit.
European bread market is exact same mix of prepacked, baked off, and fresh finished

Stats on Europe:
>In 2012, 66% of all bakery products were produced by industry – a level expected to rise to 69% by 2016. Of these, 32% are pre-packed, long-life products, 19% fresh finished and 15% bake-off.

that czech autist claimed that "it is bretty good". but looking at the pic I said it looks same as here. To which he said oh no you have plastic shit but "muh europe". the truth is it is all the same everywhere but euro autists are just misinformed.

I mean conceptually (prepacked vs fresh vs baked off). But you still may have different/better kinds etc.

Because stats don't agree with you.
Just because you personally have certain preferences (and probably lying too), doesn't mean most people are like you.

of course i am not going to claim that american bread is better that german bread, that would be a ridiculous claim. most people here don't care about bread so they would gladly eat plastic shit. but that's not my point. my point is you have the same share of shit and we have real bread too. and most of consumers in europe prefer prepacked bread not artistan bread.

ok i am going full autism mode with these charts. here is a better one wit a break down of the industrial delivery methods. so the difference is not as a high as i thought but the "non-fresh" share seems pretty significant. but of course it is much lower than here.
>>
>>78493392
You also have to consider that pretty much anything non-bread (about 30% of the market) would mostly be prepackaged

Weird

Here Lidl is actaully bretty good and they have policy max 7 people in line before opening new kassa

Other chains are much worse(tesco, albert etc) but it is probably Lidl pays the best and the other chains arw chronicly understuffed
>>
>>78493512
yeah i thought about that, pastries and shit. but looks like the viennoiserie/patisserie categories are mostly sold fresh or at least that's what their stats claim, i dunno. also, on this chart: >>78493294 bake-off seems to be included in the fresh category. that's confusing.

You buy it when it has been just baked, so I guess that for the end consumer it counts as fresh, and I'm pretty sure you cannot freeze dough since it kills all the yeast

of course you can freeze dough. the yeast can survive easily. that was the initial argument in this thread about which chains do that. discount chains can store frozen dough for a long time and it is also considered "bake off". but it is not specified on the charts. hell, you can even buy frozen dough and bake it at home.
