I wouldn't really believe the accounts he posted here were his, he's just intent on making everyone else believe this general is filled with children and Redditors.

That's an idealistic but basically true conception of it to some extent. However, in real life, the opinions you're presented with aren't filtered out by algorithms or deleted at the click of a button, and you can't get as easily confused between the opinion of your cultivated clique and the general public.

>Immediately begins circlejerking with Frogweeb
This part is untrue, or at least very revisionary. Frogweeb and Jaggy only became on good terms after Frogweeb returned from France. In the months following Jaggy's return to /éire/, himself and Frogweeb were regularly arguing among themselves due to their differing political views.

Other than the vague theme of "anime", Frogweeb and Jaggy wouldn't have had anything to circlejerk about. After all, Jaggy never once expressed any interest in Frogweeb's main gimmick and Frogweeb has long been hostile towards former members of the Skype group.

On the one hand they're gombeens true but the on the other I don't like Dubliners brushing them with the "Parish Pump" rhetoric which they tend to do for anyone with concerns solely outside the capital yet are happy to accept politicians who only care about their local area. They look after the interests of their local community and isn't that what all politicians are supposed to do?

The Healy-Raes hold the country to ransom for their stupid, local interests. Meanwhile people who live and work in Dublin are carrying the rest of the country by creating jobs and paying tax. Are you making assumptions or have you figured out that you know him before he's realised he knows you? This would be the part in the film where Poi goes mad trying to narrow down people you could be, becoming increasingly socially detached out of fear anyone could be you. He quits his job in fear you're his boss and only leaves the house when he sees you posting after six, meaning you're at home. They're not bad really. They're not the best but they're certainly not the worst. I'm only annoyed because I thought every family was the same where no one talked to each other or spent time together much. Then I went over to friend's houses in secondary and their families got on great. In fact I got on better with their families than I did with my own. What really got me was one friend that went on about how his mother was awful and he hated his family and whatnot, but then I went to his house and they got on better than mine do. I don't hate mine, I'm just frequently annoyed with them for a variety of reasons.
I do love my extended family though as I've said. I'm good friends with almost all of my cousins and my aunties love to treat me. I'm even friendly with a good few of my second cousins.

>>78476721
That would be a bit depressing. Realising that I am the only slightly messed up person in the country.
>>
I'm annoyed with my family because we never really got along. We like each other to an extent but never really talk. All my life the dinner table has just been complete silence or long car journeys are complete silence too.
Like your man above me said it wasn't until I went to friends house's and saw how well other families got on that I realised.
My mother was a pretty disturbed person when I was a kid/teenager too.
It was constant arguments with my dad over stupid things. she would scream the house down or roar at me constantly. She's a fucking headcase.
I never wanted to invite friends over because fun didn't exist in my house. I couldn't interract with my parents and friends in a fun way. She'd either start shouting or just not respond.
We got into a few physical fights too.
Plus shed ruin every single holiday we went on by having a mental breakdown in public at us.
She's relaxed a bit now that we're older but still I need to tell her to calm the fuck down over little things.
I think she's genuinely autistic or something.
>>
>>78476916
Think you might be me. Though I kind of got used to her autism.
>>
I'm also pissed off because I was made take care of things in the house from a young age. I learned a lot of good life skills which I'm happy with but from about 11 years onwards she'd tell me to clean the entire kitchen or house, and I'd often have to cook the dinner for every one while she went out to care for my younger brother and bring him places. I'd have to paint the place, cut the grass every week, clean her car, I was made walk to both primary and secondary school and she didn't give two fucks.
Meanwhile my younger brother has zero responsibility. She never made him do any of those things. She won't even let him walk to school because she thinks it's too dangerous. Here I was as s kid having nearly gotten hit by cars several times or walking a few km in pissing rain.
I'm glad I learned to be do independent to the point that I went on my first holiday alone at 17 but I still feel neglected. She doesn't understand this when I tell her and flat out denies I ever had to do any of those things.
Then she gets all pissy st me when my brother doesn't have a lift home from school on a sunny day and I tell her I'm busy and there's no harm in walking once in a while. Proceeds to have a fucking panic attack over it and will give him the day off.
He's some useless lazy wanker. Doesn't even know how to clean up after himself, use a lawn mower or even how to hang out washing properly.

>>
Also she knew I had a lot of mental problems from a very young age. 5 or 6 years old. I mean proper mental and social issues but she repeatedly refused to acknowledge them and would bury her head in the sand or just respond by screaming at me to be normal.
My school would regularly highlight this to her but she's so nothing about it or take me to any of the recommended places for help. It wasn't until I was 17 that she properly acted after my school made called her in. Even then she just sent me to that one psychologist and he did a massive report with loads of recommendations and if course she just ignored it and nothing changed.
I got disability benefits at 16 but she just pocketed them herself until I was 19 and out of school and started to get help on my own initiative.
I could go on about this shit all night. It's was never ending with how she treated me.

Were parents supposed to hug children or was that a thing in Irish society? Not sure if families were that close.
Although I remember my friend he they a great relationship with their parents. They could take the piss out of each other totally and it was amazing craic. Constant jokes. Practically friends with them.

My mam would sometimes, but usually it was me. It's not like that TV shite where parents hug their children after coming home or something.

Looking forward to it.

Just felt bad for you but yeah obviously parents are meant to hug their children, did your mother never hug you once? What're you gonna play?
>>
>>78477768
Yeah I thought so. That seemed like American shite.
>>78477788
Nah never. Except for that time my best friend got killed. Remember that distinctly. Don't think I've been hugged at all in my life really.
Ok I feel bad for detailing this thread with blog posting.
Might play subnautica.
