/int/ opinion on Tokyo?
Would like to visit one day
fuck knows
never been there
grey
looks like a disorganized cluster-fuck of a city. not what I would expect from Japanese people, who are generally so orderly in their social demeanor.

Very cool but not quite as futuristic as I imagined.
Still an undisputed top-tier city though.

Yeah well you did burn it down
>>78434642
what do you mean exactly that it doesn't use a grid?
>>78430535
Looks exactly like in my chinese cartoons, but with a grey filter.
>>78430535
actually a pretty boring place.
>>78434991
is it worth spending the 5k plus it takes for a 10 day trip?
>>78430535
shithole full of depressed overworked chinks and gooks
>>78435439
I'd say it's definitely worth the trip.
You should be able to spend much less to get/stay there though.

really nice and clean.
Residential area are really calm.
The only unconvenient stuff are the high price of public transportation and the fact that metro stop around midnight.

>clean

It's not really modern and some place feel really dated but I had the impression most people take really good care of their streets and public spaces.
For instance even in parks it's always clean and people even when drunk bring back their junk with them.
I also saw many time obasan and ojisan brooming early in the morning before their shop and surroundings.
Would love to go there. Shame it would cost so much.

all the more reason that it should have be organized. they had a chance to do a few hours of city-planning and then rebuild everything from scratch.

It's beautiful but I don't like the north and north east side of the city.
I love the skyscrapers in Ginza, Yanaka graveyard, Ueno park, Futakotamagawa, the Skytree, Tokyo Tower and Odaiba.
I am delighted by its cyberpunk atmosphere. The neon signs, the dark alleys, etc.
It's clean, or at least way cleaner than any city in Buenos Aires, people mind their own business, you can hang out pretty much anywhere and it's safe. I like how each neighborhood has its own personality.
I just love it, I feel at home when I'm in Tokyo. But I fucking hate the lack of benches and trash cans.

Kinda strange, compared to typical russian city.
