It is a struggle even the russians must suffer
>>
How do I use "для"? I need help.
>>
>>78410659
dlya means for, I think it's called a preposition
after it, you use the word changed into genitive case

for example квac means kvas (drink mostly popular in eastern europe)
пocyдa для квaca - posuda dlya kvasa

so квaca (kvasa) is genitive case of квac (kvas) that you can use with для (dlya)

as you can see ending of word changes according to which case it is. what ending you will have to put at the end of word with different cases depends on gender of that word.

oh hey it's you, Zydrunas anon

I am the anon who occasionally visits norgetråden for wishing good day
>>
>>78411556
Oh, how пpиятнo. Have a nice day. I recently moved and met a very nice lithuanian girl, nothing romantic, but I think we will be good friends. Last night we ate dinner and talked about differences between Norway and Lithuania.
>>
>>78411704
likewise

that is very good to hear indeed, I hope that you both get positive things out of this friendship and that your discussion was interesting and enlightening
>>
>>78411355
is there a difference between dlya and za
>>
>>78411755
It is good practice to talk with girls, and she is very fun and actually wants to talk with me so I think it will be very good for me. We live together in a commieblock, so we decided we can make dinner for eachothers back and forth, nice way to not eat alone all days of the week.
>>
>>78411795
hmm I am not very good in this but I think that za is like for when you trade/exchange something and when you're supporting/cheering for something, for example 'for my team!' or 'for Russia!' you would never say dlya, but za.

dlya is more for general stuff like 'this is for animals' and stuff like that

I just googled it actually and found this useful thread for you
https://russian.stackexchange.com/q/12288

>>78411878
wow that's actually what some people could only wish for regarding neighbours
I won't be surprised if it will turn into something more than friendship

In my dreams, maybe. It would be great if it did, but she is so much better than me and she is 26 (and I am 20) so I don't think it is possible.

>>
>>78412266
Anything is possible, anonku. Just align yourself with her, her interests/hobbies. If she doesn't have anyone there, then there's no excuse for it to be just a dream.

Ask her to teach you some funny Lithuanian phrases and you can both have a great laugh at your attempt to repeat or pronounce it over a dinner table. Ask her out. A lot of possibilities :)
>>
>>78412024
thanks. we have only 'za' in croatian, in polish there is only 'dlya', and in russian i heard both, so i was wondering is there a difference, or is maybe one of those words a poetic one, because i learn russian mainly through songs, for example this one (one of the lyrics is za svobodu, za narod)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKyKNhIbCvg

but it turns out that there is a difference, that link is very helpful.

Oh doge, now I realize how do the native English speakers feel while browsing /int/.
>>

No norwegian would ever learn russian, diaspora-kun. This thread is creeping me out hard.
>>
>>78412207
ja tolko hochu nauchit ruskiy, because ww3 is coming and i need useful phrases like 'ne strelyay' and 'ya lyublyu rosiyu'
>>
>>78412411
that is interesting. in Lithuanian we have už which can mean either for, or behind and I think it's the same as Russian za because where Russians have dlya we have no word, just different ending of word.
>>
>>78412454
I know, right? It's awful. Kudos to anglos for not going mad.
>>
>>78412454
It was wrongly written? Or you just think it is cringe because foreigner learning your language? Because I know that feel, but it is fun to learn language.

>>78412473
Why not? In /norgetråden/ there is one who speaks quite well and also one who is half russian so of course he also speaks good russian.

>>78412351
Align myself with her, what do you mean? She is very busy with work and study and is single so I don't think she has anyone.

Thanks for the idea, I will ask her to, and she will probably ask me back so I can think of some norwegian ones meanwhile.

>Я нopвeжcкий. Я пpocтo иcyчaю пo-pyccкий.
It's not "нopвeжcкий". It's "Hopвeжeц". You use "нopвeжcкий" as an adjective when talking about some inanimate object.
For example:
Hopвeжcкий cлoн

>иcyчaю
иЗyчaю

>пo-pyccкий
You should use "Pyccкий" when talking about a language. The same is true with other languages - Aнглийcкий, Heмeцкий, Hopвeжcкий.
>>
>>78412577
>Why not?
Because Norwegians hate Russians, anon. You would be lynched for learning russian in Norway.
>>
>>78412504
here 'za' means 'for' (in all english meanings of the word) and 'iza' means 'behind' ('za' can also mean behind, archaically, for example 'Zagorje', a region behind the mountain), so that must be a balto-slavic connection.
>>
>>78412577
not sure how to explain it in English but it makes sense in my head
align as in, imagine what you'd do together, how you could be together and act if it's a given, like it's already happening and is supposed to be like that.

maybe it sounds weird or creepy idk but in my language and my head it made sense

>>78412749

I don't mind if someone learns my language, it's none of my business to tell you what languages should you study.

We have meme economy which supposed to combined planned economy and free market. It doesn't work, but hey, who cares, muh social state and shiet.
>no unemployment
Up to 2014 offficaly only 1 percent of people were unemployed. But when they decided to introduce the unemployment tax turned out much more people were unemployed. What a surprise. Official statistics are saying something about 50k people being unemployed, but in reality this number is at least 4 times bigger.
