I'm not triggered by brown people you silly leafs. Toronto is full of people (residents, not tourists) speaking their native languages, practicing their own cultures and obviously not even trying to assimilate, far more than anywhere I've been in the US. Even in Minneapolis which has a massive Somali population it seemed like they were largely going to school, learning/speaking english etc. People who come to the US usually want to become Americans in every sense and I'm not sure the situation's the same up north. Might be worth cultivating a bit of a stronger national identity guys. Few people want to live next door to someone with radically different values.

And freedom of speech is the most valuable principle of western civilization, when it starts to wobble remember it's the first in a long line of dominos. Keep an eye on it.
