The last four years I've spent most of my time away from South Africa. I worked overseas because earning euros and dollars goes a long way in SA but as soon as I get on that plane I'm home sick, and that homesickness doesn't go away until I step off the plane back in Jozi or Cape Town.
I love my country, bullshit and all. One thing I've learnt in my short time away from home is that every country, first world or not has its own shit and that the pros of living in SA vs Europe/USA far outweigh any cons.
SA is and always will be home.
Keep it going, anon.
