Which do you prefer more French or Italian food?
not really fond of either besides duck confit and pizza

Objectively French food. But nobody likes the French and Italian cuisine is a lot more represented on a low-brow level (pizza and pasta) so everyone here will pick Italian, glossing over the fact that French cuisine (that's not an Italian word!) defined what it means to cook.

>defined what it means to cook.
Nope, we just invented restaurants before everyones.
Ive always felt that our cuisine is badly represented outside of France, so i eont know how theyll judge it

I feel like French is more varied and caters to my taste better, so French.

Italian ofc

"High brow french cuisine" is uncooked meat, a bunch of onions in hot water and literal frogs

Frog legs are god tier, that said having been to both Italy and France I liked Italian food a lot better, though pizza in Italy tastes like ass. The tarte flambé in France was good but France stole it from the Germans anyway.
