since no one in our country expects anything from our emmanuel rotshild about inner mesures, i still have a slight hope for european scale politics. as the electoral shitstorm began in your country, and that grandma merkel might eventually leave the throne (someday maybe), i wonder how is the statement of the candidates, outside the based normie media stream.

Sorry OP, but Schulz is just a little bit more left than Merkel. He is a mainstream Third Way DemSoc, maybe a little bit less strict on austerity, a bit more socially liberal, a bit more progressive and a bit more economically leftist.
Think about Holland/Valls vs. Macron.
Also, the German electoral system makes an upset by a minority candidate impossible.
