Why is that homosexuality seems to be much more common in western countries and Southeast Asia while it's almost non-existent in East Asia?
Living in Korea, Japan, and China, I've barely ever seen anyone from LGBT community while in USA I see them everywhere.
Even in Taiwan, a first Asian country that legalized gay marriage, LGBT are still rare to see.
Why is that East Asia tends to be much more feminine society than western worlds and yet have minimal number of LGBT and very intolerant perceptions towards them?
Lastly how are LGBT viewed in your country?

Because the environment people grow up in is one of the factors that can influence someone's sexual preferences. It's not always determined by the genes. This explains why there are so many homosexuals among Westerners (and Millenials in particular)

I don't understand Asian intolerance since they don't typically follow Abrahamic religions. Here they say absurd things like "they're going to hell, that is sinful, this will lead to paedophilia" and other such nonsensical trash. What do they say in Asia?

surely you won't see many openly gay people if they think they'll lose their jobs, get disowned by their families or get beaten on the street or killed even
other than this there's a big variety of accepted behaviour, some southern countries are all against homosexuals etc. but have no problems with kissing other men on the cheek, which is pretty gay imo
