In Morocco, 15 teenagers raped a donkey and caught rabies virus. The minors were sent to the hospital to get vaccinated against a deadly infection. The owner of the victim donkey was ordered to kill the animal in order to prevent the risk of further spread of the disease. While parents of young offenders are in grief and horror, the inhabitants of a small town relish a scandalous story.

A loud incident occurred in the small farm town of Sidi al-Kamel, Sidi-Qasem province. All children and adolescents who participated in the donkey rape were sent to the Mechraa Belksiri hospital for a week. There, minors should be vaccinated against rabies, the Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar said in its issue of August 10 (note on page 10).

The incident was learned by local authorities and began to look for those who "approached" the infected donkey or "looked" at him to prevent the further spread of the infection.
